| Political Career |
Joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhazgam in the year 1981. In 1986 took part in the " Burning of law struggle " and was arrested on the charge of planting bomb in the Singanallur railway track. He was behind the bars for 8 months as under trial prisoner. Later in the year 1991 the above case was withdrawn by the Government. |
Worked as " DMK Youth Wing Deputy Convenor " of Coimbatore City from 1987 to 1991, Served as " DMK Youthwing Secretary " from 1991 to 1994 and from 2003 onwards, he is serving as " 1st Circle DMK Secretary " of Coimbatore City Municipal corporation. |
He has given speech on various occations on DMK's ideas in all parts of the Coimbatore District and the surrounding districts. He has conducted the maximum number of Public meetings and street meetings in the Tamil Nadu state. |
His marriage function was presideover by the Honourable Chief Minister Dr.Karunanithi, on 25th Feb 1994. |
